Installing the app
«Yandex» is a free app.

Download from the official store.
Update the app
The device's operating system automatically detects app updates and installs them in the background. You can also update «Yandex» app manually:
- Open Google Play.
- Tap the profile icon in the upper-right corner.
- Select Manage apps & device.
- Under Updates available, tap See details.
- Find Yandex and tap Update.
Note
If «Yandex» app isn't on the list or it says All apps are up to date, this means you've already installed the latest version of the app.
Delete the app
Note
If the app was installed by the device manufacturer, it can't be deleted.
- Open Google Play.
- Tap the profile icon in the upper-right corner.
- Select Manage apps & device → Manage.
- Select Yandex and tap
at the top right.
Make Yandex your default browser
Note
The path may vary depending on your device and Android version.
- Open your device settings.
- Go to Apps → Default apps.
- Tap Browser and select Yandex.
To make all links open in the «Yandex» app, go to the home screen, tap 
(profile picture) → App settings, and enable the option Links to Yandex sites from third-party sites will open in the Yandex app.
