App passwords
If you store a site password in the Yandex app, it can be autofilled in the app that's associated with the site.
Alert
The feature is available on devices running on Android 8.0 and higher.
Enable password autofill

On the home screen, tap
(profile picture) → Passwords.
- If necessary, enter your master password to access the storage.
- Tap
→ Settings.
- Enable Autofill for logins and passwords in apps.
Enter a saved password
- Open the app and tap the login or password box.
- In the list of logins for the app, select the one you need. If the list doesn't open, tap Fill in using Yandex and select the login from the list.
- If you have already created a master password, enter it to access your vault.
- The login and password will be inserted in the boxes. Log in to the app.
Save a password for an app
If you first enable autofill and then install the app, the password for the app won't be filled in when you sign in. To add a password for a new app to the vault:
- Open the app and enter your login and password.
- Confirm adding the password to the vault.
- If you have already created a master password, enter it to access your vault.
After that, the login and password for the app will be automatically filled in when you log in.
Disable autofill

On the home screen, tap
(profile picture) → Passwords.
- If necessary, enter your master password to access the storage.
- Tap
→ Settings.
- Disable Autofill for logins and passwords in apps.
Yandex will no longer autofill passwords into apps when you log in.
